instagram | anotherfeather.
I don't know how I found her stream, but it's one of my new favorites. Each photo is like a dreamy, vintage still life.
She also makes jewelry.

i die | wooden frames.
These frames are so major. I've posted about wooden frames before, but the bar has been lifted. This site has petite frames, as well. I'm coveting this bottom pair completely. #youneverknow

socks and birkentstocks?
( via )
I was catching up after months of not looking through the Satorialist and came across his new little vision: Socks with Birkenstocks. As he says, it's not about the model of sandal, it's about matching it to the right sock. I'm used to hearing about the "Birkenstock Dilemma" on all the blogs every summer (just get the gizeh's and shut up already, I say) but this ... I am speechless.
I gotta hurry, the Satorialist says it only works for October, November, April or May.

at the weekend | gratuitous baseball video.
Here's what I call my "second shift" - baseball - and a homerun to boot.
I found this famous $200 bat on ebay for a little over a quarter of the price, a gift for making the honor roll. I was terrified it would get to us in a miniature dollhouse size (who's got time to read the fine print?!)
It has earned it's keep.

at the weekend | quiet time.
Despite a ton of baseball in Tacoma this weekend, we still managed to fit in pockets of quiet time.

And you won't hear me complain about the 6:30am view while driving south Sunday morning at all.

goodwill finds.
Dress: Gap, new with tags, $7.99
Sweater: Frenchie, $7.99 - love this thing, long, drapie and the perfect color.
(I just noticed that blue dot on the dress - lint, luckily and came right off.)

what i wore.
Francis and I went to the Fremont Market on Sunday and I scored another leather fanny pack ... for $3. As the booth owner said: You can never have too many.

etsy shop | AnaniasSandals.
I totally forgot my friend, Erin, sent me a link to these sandals last year. It was far enough into the summer that I passed on them, but I am seriously rethinking a pair for this summer. If the shop owner has overstock, she will sell them for $9.95. Handmade, real leather, and the shop has a 99% positive feedback rating. I like the lighter color in the 2nd photo, and the lighter color in the bottom photo.
